What's New On The Farm?, Issue #36
October 03, 2026

Good Morning!

It is Saturday, October 3, 2026. I know it has been a long while since you have heard from me. On Thursday and Friday, we got 3.5 inches of rain so that was amazing. Also temperatures are now in the 80s instead of the 90s and 100s due to the rain. Hopefully, it will stay cooler now. Our fall garden is coming along and so are the weeds. The animals are all doing well. Some of the male wethers will be going to auction on Monday for sale as there are just too many.

Over in our seed store, we have added some new varieties and David is moving things around. He started yesterday. Also, many of our seed packs now have new amounts of seeds. Most have 500 or 1000 seeds in a pack now with a few having 2000 and even 5000. We have added to our pelleted seed varieties as well but these can be ordered online only as they are made to order. You can look at and order our seeds here.

Above is our 2 year old Louisiana Catahoula dog, Trump. Someone dumped him on our farm when he was 4 pounds back in July of 2024. He is the sweetest dog but he is about 70 pounds now. He still thinks he is a lap dog. Isn't he so cute?

Above, twins Lois Lane and Clark Kent along with their aunt, Gracie having fun in the goat yard.

Our Farm Store has new hours. Our normal hours are now Thursday and Friday from 10am until 5pm and Saturday from 10am to 2pm. We are closed Sunday through Wednesday to work on seed orders.
It has been a very dry summer up until the past two days and now it is a bit wetter and cooler!

Happy Fall Planting!
